Greeley, Colorado is set to undergo a bold transformation with the launch of Cascadia, a $1.1 billion, 300-acre mixed-use development approved by the City Council in April 2025. Positioned on the city’s rapidly growing west side, Cascadia aims to be a game-changer, blending sports, entertainment, housing, and outdoor recreation in one visionary master-planned district.
At the heart of the project is an 8,600-seat arena, which will serve as the new home of the Colorado Eagles minor-league hockey team. The arena will be complemented by a secondary 1,500-seat rink for youth hockey, enhancing regional athletic infrastructure. The surrounding entertainment district will feature a 12-slide indoor water park, a conference hotel, vibrant dining and retail experiences, and more than 11,000 housing units designed to accommodate Greeley’s growing population.
The development will also include expansive outdoor amenities, including horse trails, kayaking paths, and a modern transit hub that features a new bridge over U.S. 34, improving connectivity and mobility throughout the region.
Driving the vision forward is The Water Valley Company, with CEO Martin Lind describing Cascadia as “a once-in-a-generation opportunity” to reshape Greeley’s economic landscape and lifestyle offerings. Key to that vision is the design expertise of Davis Partnership Architects, who are guiding the architectural direction with a cohesive, community-centered approach. Their work helps unify the entertainment, residential, and recreational elements into a seamless, welcoming environment.
Cascadia is more than a development—it’s Greeley’s next chapter, built for the future.
